    You’ll arrive in Cuzco, located near Machu Picchu, where you will spend four days volunteering with children at the STA-supported voluntourism project. At the project site, you will cook warm meals and help the children with their schoolwork.

    June 6-13

    Departing from Buenos Aires, Argentina, with stops in Rio de Janeiro and at Iguassu Falls, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, you will spend about a week exploring Brazil and Argentina on this tour. Make sure to take time to admire the distinct neighborhoods of Buenos Aires with their colorful facades and engaging residents. You’ll also have some time to just “get away” with a stop in the colonial town of Paraty, before finishing your tour in Rio.

    June 17-29

    Arrive in Sydney and spend a few days exploring the largest city in Australia. Your trip includes a hop-on-hop-off tour of Sydney Harbour where you can see the famous Opera House from the water. Next, you’ll tour the gorgeous Blue Mountains with their deep gorges and Aboriginal hand stencils on the rocks, and spend a day catching killer waves at Bondi Beach. From there, your journey stops for a couple of days of fun in Melbourne, where you can grab some quality time with penguins and koalas. The last leg of your journey is a tour of Hobart and the east coast of Tasmania.     July 3-8

    Land in Tokyo and get ready to experience one of the world’s busiest and most exciting cities. Your tour includes stops at the Imperial Palace and Asakusa Kannon Temple.     July 10-18

    Arrive in the hectic city of Bangkok where you will have time to check out the city’s Royal Palace, countless pagodas and multiple open-air markets. It’s a free day to check out the city before heading to the white sand beaches and clear water of Ko Samui in the Gulf of Thailand. The next stop on the tour is the amazing caves and lagoons of Ko Phangnan. Take a swim and spend a little time exploring Ko Tao - also known as “turtle island” - before departing for Bangkok.

    July 23-29

    Start in the amazing city of Istanbul where you can get some sumptuous street food and explore the area. Your second day on tour, you’ll take in Old Istanbul with stops at the Blue Mosque, the Aya Sofya, Topkapi Palace and the Hippodrome. If you’re a history buff, you’ll enjoy the next two stops – the Gallipoli battlefields and Troy, the site of the famous Trojan War. To finish it off, you’ll stop at the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.

    August 1-8

    Land in Cairo and meet up with your fellow travelers for a tour of Egypt that you will never forget.
